Results driven, action-oriented solutions.

About Rhodes.

Rhodes works to provide organisations with the tools to perform at the highest possible level through understanding your core values, clients, people, and key revenue drivers. We understand that no business can successfully generate growth and product diversification unless all key functions are working together towards a common goal. For this to happen you need the highest quality people from the top down and bottom up because no organisation can perform to expectations without a motivated, passionate, and skilled workforce.

Rhodes has the experience, capabilities, and support structures to work with not-for-profits, governments (local, state, and federal) and medium to large corporates. Our facilitators and consultants have the in-depth skills, experience, and knowledge to adapt to your organisation, understand the issues, and work alongside you to both identify solutions and execute them.

Finally, at Rhodes we not only upskill your people but stay engaged in the business and help you execute on your KPIs. This is a significant point of difference as upskilling through knowledge transfer is only one component of professional development. We provide ongoing coaching, advice, and skills refinement. Our passion for engagement is evident in our approach to client relationship management.

Rhodes is with you from inception to execution; no training, consulting advice, or ongoing support is worth investing in unless your organisation meets its short, medium and long term targets.

Changing Organisational Behaviour

Creating POSITIVE organisational Change

Rhodes Performance Group is a set of solutions aimed at creating lasting behavioural change in individuals and teams, toward greater productivity, improved wellbeing and positive organisational outcomes.

After years of observation and research RPG has finally cracked the code of getting results from the upskilling of knowledge. In today’s society knowledge is everywhere. At the touch of a button we have millions of bytes of information on any topic, to any depth imaginable. Unfortunately, knowledge does not get results. Knowledge does not improve team performance, nor does it see your individual, team or organisation succeed. Action and behaviour change does.

Each RPG solution is a 10, 12 or 16 week process, starting with a brief period of learning. More than 90% of the process is on-the-job application which is automatically turning knowledge into real work and results. Off the shelf and tailored solutions are available in a host of business performance topics; please enquire below for a free consultation.

The Emotionally Intelligent Leader:
One Day Enhancement Program

Leadership is fundamentally about facilitating high performance, thereby motivating others to do things effectively and efficiently. Emotional intelligence is a key attribute that helps leaders achieve this function. There is a wealth of literature detailing the impact emotion has on individuals’ performance. This research has shown, for example, that people perform their best at work when they feel involved in purposeful work that develops who they are, and when they feel valued, cared for, consulted, respected, informed and understood. This research has also shown that people often perform their worst when they feel unproductive feelings, such as feeling overly worried, frustrated, concerned, stressed, inadequate and fearful.

Explore the neuroscience of emotions and emotional intelligence, examine tools and techniques for effectively asking for, and responding to feedback, explore techniques for developing self and other awareness, examine how they can use reactive and proactive techniques to build resilience and effectively manage strong emotions, and explore an approach for facilitating engagement discussions with their staff members.

Outcomes

During this program, participants will improve their understanding of emotions and emotional intelligence. They will also explore and practise tools and techniques for applying emotional intelligence in their leadership, and creating high performance in others on that basis. Specifically, participants will:

  • explore the neuroscience of emotions and emotional intelligence,

  • examine tools and techniques for effectively asking for, and responding to, feedback,

  • explore techniques for developing self and other awareness,

  • examine how they can use reactive and proactive techniques to build resilience and effectively manage strong emotions, and

  • explore an approach for facilitating engagement discussions with their team members

As pre-work to the program, participants complete the Genos Emotionally Intelligent Leadership 180° Report. During the program, they are provided with an expert led debrief and action planning methodologies to help leverage strengths and address development opportunities in their leadership.

10 Week Performance Turnaround:
The Leader’s key to unlocking individual performance

Sick of leading a team that fails to get results? You work hard… your team works hard… but results don’t seem to follow. Often with best intentions, hard work and team members’ and leader’s efforts, don’t always end in measurable results. Knowing the right process to apply to team members to ensure they spend the majority of their time on the specific things leading to results can make all the difference.

Driving Individual Performance is a leader’s key to unlock the potential of their team, get results and with it increase engagement. In this 10 week turnaround to results, leaders will

  • develop and adopt a performance mindset

  • inspire their team by connecting their jobs and the team’s “reason for being” to the mission and goals of the company

  • set and achieve manager and team member “bought in” goals and path to goal achievement

  • give performance feedback effectively

  • coach individuals to higher performance

  • address and close serious performance gaps

Part of the Rhodes Performance Series, this 10 week turnaround starts with a one day up-skill and drill where leaders learn the basics of the skills and tools they will master over the next 10 weeks. For the remainder of the 10 week turnaround, the leader will spend 1-3 hours per week mastering the skills of performance with their team. The 10 week turnaround is purely based on in-team practice. While mastering the skills, their team will already be on the path to perform.

The 10WKPT is tracked by the RPS Results Portal which assigns weekly tasks, receives submitted work and tracks progress to success.

Culminating in a Results Summit*, groups of leaders who go through 10WKPT will report-out their results and success stories in front on the most senior leader available.
